More about that airplane

Well I went exploring up to the airfield on Friday to see what I could find ... I found the two old war birds sitting there in their absolute glory. The B-24J Liberator (the only one still flying in the U.S.) and the Boeing built B-17G Flying Fortress (one of only 14 still flying in the U.S). These aircraft are part of The Colling Foundation (there is a link below in the previous post), a non-profit "founded in 1979. The purpose of the Foundation is to organize and support "living history" events that enable Americans to learn more about their heritage through direct participation".
