Happy Hannaka, Merry Christmas everyone. Tonight we walked to the park to feed the ducks and hear the Simcoe Carillon Tower play Christmas songs. We stopped accros the street from the carilon to listen to the songs before seeking out the ducks and geese.
At the end of the song being played we were noticed and we clapped and waved to the Carillon player, then all of a sudden we were invited up to see the bells (and whistles) of the Simcoe war memorial. Shirely was playing and Norm (I assume her significant other) was there to help her. Norm showed us the clocks mechinism and then took us up a coupl eof flights of stairs to see the bells .... Who would have thought that tonight this was going to happen.
Thanks Norm and Shirley! Thanks for a great memory!
