I have to say that for a long time I have always watched the Grammy Awards on TV - Sometimes I crank up the awesome performances. This year I am not sure what was more memorable. I think this years, the 47th. was one of the best Grammy's in a long time. What does that mean? That means there is a ton of great music out there right now!
By far my favorite performance of the night - this girl is a class act.
These guys are the punks of our age - How can you not like these guys - they ROCK! Later while accepting a Grammy, Billie Joe Armstrong said, "Rock and roll can be dangerous and fun at the same time."
And this was another great performace - Melissa's eyes just sparkled during the whole song they performed (a smokin' tribute to Janis Joplin) ...and they kicked it!
And I got a good laugh out of Loretta and Jack accepting their Grammy, bless her heart for doing an album with Jack White - I wish I had a transcript of this acceptance speech!
