As some of you know I have been working on setting up a saltwater environment in our living room. Not a big one, as it is my very first time venturing down this road, but big enough.
Some of the numbers. It is a 30 gallon tank. There is approximately 25 lbs of live (cultured) rock in it. Super duper water filter, water spray bar (to add water movement), a heater, a cool light (that when turned off has "moon light").
So who moved in? Well two Banggai Cardinals and a species of Blenny (I think it was a red tailed blenny).
In the center of this image is a blenny just about to back into a hole in the rock (that's where is hangs out in a matter of speaking
I asked Baby Girl what she wanted to name the cardinals. She said
Pbbbtthhhhbt
and
Bwabwabwa
which I translate as Petey and Barney.
Assuming they're both boys. And assuming Tim's cool with the names.
She hasn't named the blenny yet. But I'm thinking "Benny the Blenny" has a nice ring to it :-)
hhhmmmmm - OK - I was going to go with "The Blenny" and "The Card with a lot of spots" and "The Card with not so many spots". But Petey, Barney and Benny work.
