For the last week I have been wanting to go to the zoo with my girls. We got up a little early (for a Sunday) and headed right over to the Woodland Park Zoo. Part of my "need" for the zoo was to experience the Giraffe feedings, where for a small price (which goes to help fund programs) you can get 5 or 10 minutes hanging out face to face with a Giraffe and feeding them leaves. Dude, I did not know about this feature of the zoo! Excellent! Um, Z needs to do this. Yeah, it's for the kid...
