Canada wins the GOLD at the 2005 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship
Russia won the Silver, the Bronze went to the Czech Republic ... sadley Team U.S.A. was 4th.
Well Team U.S.A. lost the quarter final round to Russia in the 'World Junior Hockey Championships' in North Dakota. The bad news is that Team Russia is a team full of no class players! I have not seen that kind of poor sportsmanship in quite a while. I hope they will learn some lesson on Tuesday when Team Canada is going to humiliate them in the ice for the Gold medal match. Team USA ... hopefully they can pull out a bronze medal.
Well today it was announced that the 2005 NHL All Star Game was canceled. Also the whole season my be scrapped.
oh yeah ... there was an presidential election too.
