Recently in Regular Stuff Category

Well .. I admit I have been neglecting my site for awhile ... but that is all about to change (I think). Not much new, we went to the Great White North for the holidays and then took a family vacation in RAINY Southern California ...

Many who know me, know my car ... I was the second owner and bought it 9 yrs ago.

As of right now, it is somebody else's car, and it is gone.

I mean catch-up ... with images

We provided service for kd lang at the Moore Theater ...

We also provided services to the a couple of shows at the Paramount Theater ...some guy named Brian Hugh Warner ...

I caught up on some work around the yard - this was a huge blackberry thicket (?)

In January, Mrs. H let me go on a field trip to S. California, I took these in the Gibson Ampitheater.

Today started off at 4-something-AM and sending Mrs. H off in a car to the airport. She'll be back soon. Then a couple of hours later Bobbin awoke and our day started! First it was getting dressed/breakfast/thorough questioning - "Where's Mommy?".

Then it was off to get some coffee and to soccer. She did great! She ran super hard for me today. Then it was lunch and "quiet time". After quiet time we went on an adventure ... we went to check out The Cougar Mountain Zoological Park. Here are a few snaps from today.

I have to say this now ... YES there are live animals at this Zoo, Cougars, Deer, Tigers, Lemurs and so on ... but we had more fun touching the Bronze Statues :-)

The other night H and I were watching a repeat on SNL on the channel or something. It was the one with Britney Spears as a guest host/singer. It was pretty funny. Then it was time for Britney's performance ... wait a minute, what's up with that graphic???

Well time to do a little catch up. Happy 4th of July everyone! I did my usual gig at Gas Work this year with minor problems (If you call a majopr soaking of electronic equipment minor). A little sunburn.

I helped a friend out and worked at Qwest stadium on Boeings 787 rollout.

Took my daughter to her first parade (there were no marching bands though).

BBQ-ed a couple of times.

I heard someone run in the other end of the house ...
...thud - thud - thud - thud...
CRASH .... SMASH .... CRASH ....
...thud thud thud thud thud....By the time I got to the kitchen I saw my husband running faster than I have ever seen him run ever! - with the fire extinguisher.

and saw the riding lawn mower on fire.

...well, actually it wasn't. It was a clear night with a very bright partial moon shining. As an added bonus, I got a meteror too!

It's funny who I ran into at the market today ... We chatted about the climate of his former industry, where they went, where they could go and so on. I told him I had always liked his honesty, although I am sure it got him in some hot water now and again.

He had some banannas, some fish, and some other relatively healthy items in his basket. Me? I had some tri-tip steak, OJ, fresh fruit, some frozen veggies and a brand new ice cream scoop (ours broke in half).
